I am agree with Stephen Harper that something should be done with the kids that continue to brake the laws and hurt people.
They should be taught cause and effect.
But jailing a 14 year old kid?
He is talking like they will never get out of jail again.
This is Canada they will be getting out and they will be still young in their prime; but they will only be madder, meaner and badder then before. Because they will be abused worse then they already have been. They will be raped and beaten and they will learn more evil things.
If they want to fight so bad let's give them something to fight about not just learning how to survive in awful environment.
They need an attitudes change.
I believe in taught love put them in a boot camp where they can get the right kind of discipline, exercise, give them a good education and proper food. This will all help them develop their brains in the right direction. When they are of age draft them.They need to be taught empathy and appreciation.
They need to be taught respect for themselves and for their fellow person and their Country.

If you think you are beaten, you are;

If you think you dare not, you don’t!

If you'd like to win, but think you can't,

If you think you'll lose, you're lost.

For out in the world we find Success begins with a person's will;

It's all in the state of mind!

If you think you're outclassed, you are;

You've got to think high to rise.

You've got to be sure of yourself before you can win the prize.

Life's battles don't always go to the strongest or fastest man or woman;

But sooner or later the man or woman who wins.

Is the man who thinks he or she can!
